  •  What is "shareware" or "trialware"?

    Shareware, or trialware, are terms that describe software that can be downloaded and used for a trial or evaluation period at no cost before a purchase decision needs to be made. This is the standard way that software can be tried out before purchasing and is used by most software companies.

    All Weta Software products are shareware. What this means is that you can download and use our software for a set period (our products have a 30 day evaluation period) for free, with no obligation to buy the software. Our products have full functionality during the evaluation period, and if you like the product and decide to buy it, this can be done during or after the evaluation period has expired.

     How long will it take to process my order?

    Expect to receive your serial number (registration key) via e-mail within 24 hours of purchase (though it will often be a lot quicker). If you order using a freemail address (e.g. hotmail.com, yahoo.com) it may take longer.

     What happens if I lose my software or serial number?

    If you lose your software, say if you change PC, simply download it again from our website. If you lose your serial number please e-mail support@wetasoft.com and they will be re-sent to you.

     How secure is purchasing online?

    Online purchasing is a very secure way to transact. Using our secure purchase page means all your data is fully encrypted as it is sent, and any data of yours is completely confidential.
    If your card is fraudently used by another person, you are not liable as your credit card company will pick up the fraudulent charges.

     How can I get support?

    Send us an e-mail to support@wetasoft.com or visit our support page for more information. We are hoping to offer telephone support in the near future, but generally we can respond more effectively using e-mail, and your technical or other queries will be answered promptly and professionally.

     Do upgrades cost anything?

    Updates (minor version releases - e.g. version 1.2 to version 1.3) for our products are free to registered users. Upgrades (major version releases, e.g. version 1.2 to version 2.0) are free if your original purchase was less than 6 months prior to the major version release. You will never pay more than 50% of your original purchase price if you have to pay for an upgrade.
